What this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
This website is run by FL Computer Tech, the company building Overseer. Overseer is in development and is not available yet, so this site does two things: it describes the product, and it lets you ask about its launch.
What you send us. When you use the Ask about launch form we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, your company, roughly how many computers you look after, and your message.
What a web server records. Like most websites, the servers that deliver these pages keep short-lived technical records, such as the address a request came from, the page asked for and the time. We use them to keep the site running and to spot misuse.
What the form itself does. Before the form will send, it runs a security check that tells people from automated software, and it sets one short-lived cookie that ties your browser to the form while you fill it in. To stop the form being abused, we also keep a scrambled record of the address a submission came from for one hour. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
This site does not ask you to create an account, and it does not take payment details.
We do not sell what you send us, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
We use service providers to host this website and to deliver email. They handle information on our behalf and only so that they can provide that service.
We keep an inquiry for as long as it is useful for answering you and telling you about launch. Ask us to remove yours and we remove it.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the Ask about launch form and say what you would like done.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page.
Overseer is still being built and is not available yet. If you would like to hear when it launches, get in touch.
