Known issues
The known issues list names faults in Overseer that are confirmed and still open. This page explains what the list is for and how to read an entry.
What this page is for
A known issue is a fault in Overseer itself that is confirmed and still open. Check here before you spend time on a problem. If yours is listed, the cause is not in your deployments or on your computers.
Problems that come from a computer, a network or a deployment are covered in Common issues.
How an entry is laid out
Each entry has three parts:
- What you see. The symptom, in the words used on screen.
- Why. The cause, as far as it is understood.
- What to do meanwhile. A way round the fault, or a statement that there is none.
When a fault is corrected, its entry moves to the Fixed group of the release notes.
Where the list starts
Overseer is in development. The list starts with its first release.
